I have been thinking that it would be a great opportunity to select the right Brit model/personality to be the face of the brand. The following well-known faces are all associated with the cool 'Brit-pack'....
Poppy Delevingne
The older sister to 'IT' supermodel-of-the-moment - Cara, Poppy is an English model and socialite. She has also been the muse and modelled for brands such as Matthew Williamson, Pucci and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.
She has a presence at all the best parties, and her genuine passion for fashion led her to be appointed as an ambassador for the British Fashion Council. Poppy also cites her best friend as Sienna Miller - another notable brit-pack icon. She is front row at all the main fashion shows and counts Olivia Palermo, Alexa Chung and countless other models as close friends.
On top of her ultimate cool status, I think Poppy has a very 'MiH' look to her, especially when comparing her to models used in previous campaigns who are also very natural ethereal beauties. She definitely fits in with the brand and at the age of 27 she is the perfect age which fits in with the brand's target audience.
My only very small concern is whether or not she would be the ideal model to work the 'boyfriend' jeans as I think she would suit the Marrakesh hippy-style jeans from the MiH collection.
Suki Waterhouse
A 'self-confessed tomboy', Suki Waterhouse is a 22 year old British actress/model and rising socialite. She first appeared on the fashion radar in 2011 as the girlfriend to The Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard. Aged 19 she became the face of Marks & Spencer's lingerie (which was shot by Rankin) and she has also modelled for French Connection.
In January 2014 she was named as the face for the new Burberry Brit Rhythm for Women Fragrance. She is currently filming a hollywood movie and dating a hollywood movie star. She has been involved in charity campaigns and she describes her style as "floaty, girly but a bit of boyish too".
In short, Suki is a rising young cool Brit with Hollywood connections. She hasn't been exposed to too many brands just yet and the ones she is associated with are typically British and cool. She would be perfect for MiH jeans as she is known not only in the UK but also overseas due to her Hollywood romance with Bradley Cooper. She attended the oscars with her boyfriend and if in the future she could be representing the MiH brand at an event so prestigious that would be the ultimate celebrity endorsement.
