As Instagram is the main platform for this campaign, it is essential to look into using hashtags and making sure I know how to use one and the benefits of using one. I have done some research on WGSN and found existing brand hashtag campaigns which have given me a good insight to the pro's of using one.

- There are now 350 million photos uploaded to Facebook every day, and a further 55 million to Instagram. Brands are relaxing their sense of stringent control accordingly to try to own a piece of it
- They’re also giving attribution back to the consumers who participate as a means of driving brand loyalty and advocacy. 15 seconds is the new 15 minutes of fame
- UGC is three times more likely to drive conversion than that created by the brand
